Happy Birthday Robert!

Long weekend here thanks to the Queens Birthday and I have made a card for

I have made a card for my husband Roberts 42nd birthday in a few weeks and knowing how he loves to play golf and how I love the teddy bo images this all came together quite well.
For this card I have used the super cute teddy bo trying to play golf, (much like my husband) and colored him with copics. I have used a golf ball paper called "name of the game" by scrappin sports and I don't know what the other paper is. The ribbon and golf balls are from my stash. I added a small chipboard happy birthday and colored them with gelly roller pens to add some sparkle. I cut around the image and put him up on foam.
I am also entering this into  Masculine
Hope you are enjoying your public holiday if you are lucky enough to have it as we are!

The outside of the circle is my fiskars boarder punch that I have cut up and stuck around the circle. The sentiment is on a verve die. I have used a selection of purple papers from my stash and not sure what they are called. I also used some white and purple shimmer papers.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

This is the card I have made for the paper sundaes Vintage or Shabby chic. When I made this card I think that I had all my stash out and spread over the table area trying to decide on what to put on the card. I used papers from the cappella paper pad and the image is bildmalarna stamp "I'm your angel". I used copics to colour her in and used a nellies die to cut the edging and a whiff of joy metal die "heart banner". I got the ticket as a freebie and used a doily that I sponged pink. I used the pearls and lace from my stash.
I am also entering it into Ribbon & lace.

The teddy bo challenge

Well I know that we are over easter now, but I could not resist this oh so cute teddy bo in rabbit costume to put into the that wants to see easel cards.

I have used the SU scalloped die to make the card and then cut another out in the ice cream paper that I got as free in a magazine. I have then cut another one out in the blue pearlised sheet and used a pattern paper that I got from the local spotlight store cut out with the large circles nestabilities.
The bottom sentiment is from the sweet 'n sassy stamp set and that is on a labels 14.
I have colored the teddy bo in with copics and used some sparkle fluff on the pom pom and the tail.
I cut the image out and put it onto foam pads to lift it up.
Well I hope you have a very Happy Mothers day wherever you are!

Happy Mother's Day

I made a card for my mum for Mothers day that is on Sunday and thought that I might enter it into a few challenges that I have seen when visiting blogs...This is what I made
I have used another Teddy Bea digi image and also the accessories. I have colored them with copics and cut out the robe, fluffy slippers, mat and the mirror. I put my own sentiment into the mirror and added some glitter. I have used some dimensional paint for the bubbles and also a little more glitter.
I am not sure what the top paper is and the bottom is just card stock. I have used a stampin up punch for the middle.
And this is the front of the card
I had this paper that looked like wood grain so was perfect for the doors. I have put some gold stickers around the edges and added gold sticker balls for the handles.
I used the spellbinders nesties labels 14 for the front and some valcro strip on one side to keep the doors closed.
The sentiment is computer generated and I doodled around the edge with a glitter pen.
I would like to enter this into: mothers day and/or flowers

Hope you all have a great Mother's Day whenever you celebrate it!

"For a baby"

Over at they are having a challenge that involves a card for a baby, and when I saw this I thought of the card that I have already made for my friend at work who is having a baby boy in a few weeks. Well why not put that in?
I saw this idea at one of the recent craft shows and thought that I might give it a go myself as I was in need of a baby card. The stamp set is from Stampin up, but I got it from my sister and am not sure what it is called, but it is oh so cute! I have colored each item with copics and cut each one out and placed most of them onto foam pads to give a little lift. I added gold ball stickers for the draw handles and also on the outside of the doors for when the card is closed. The card folds up so you can put your message inside. A congratulations sticker on the bottom draw completes the card!
