Teddy bears picnic!

This card has another free digi image using the distressed inks to colour her in. Lindsey asked me what paper you use and after lots of trial and error (lots of error) I have found that just plain white card is the best to use, don't use watercolour paper as the ink will run! When I started to use these inks I did a google search on how to colour with distressed inks and found lots of sites that helped.
I would like to put this card into the following:
Well I have had a long weekend of card making, but now it is back to work for me.
Have a good week everyone!

30's Lylah

Happy Sunday!
I have had a fantastic weekend of card making! I have learnt new techniques for my digi images too! I found a fantastic site that shows you how to use your digi images in ms word and although I am sure lots of people already know this I didn't and can now use my images in many different ways. Thank's Zoe for a great tutorial. I have got 1 memory stick full of images that I guard with my life and can now get a lot more use out of. This one is from and I love to colour them up.

I made this card for the that is asking for the use of buttons.
I have again used the distressed inks to colour my Lylah  in and used Zoe's techniques to make her the way I wanted her.  I have used a lot of green for this card and not sure if it all goes too well but.....
I cut out a label using the big shot and stamped the Birthday wishes and added some green gems.
Hope you are all having a crafty weekend too!

Wedding card

I have made my first wedding card for the challenge. You need to be inspired by this magnificent would you slice this up I wonder?? Well this is the card I have made for this challenge:
I used a free digi image and coloured it with prismacolor pencils and added some sparkle to her sash. I then cut her out and put her on foam dots. I made a bow with the bow easy and added some small red rose flowers and a congratulations sticker.
Hope you have a good weekend!

Cupcake Craft Challenge
This is the sketch this week for the cupcake craft challenge that I have done this card for.
I have used a image that I got on the colouring page of a bratz and I think she has come up pretty good!
I have used distressed inks to colour her and this is the first card I have used them on, and I am pleased with the results, and will be using them alot more!
I used my new large scallop circle sizzix from stampin up and some small corner pieces from my stash along with some gold ribbon.
Hope you are having a great day!

Music to my ears!

I have made this card for the challenge that is requiring sheet music.
Well I did not have any sheet music paper so I have printed some off the internet and am very happy with how it has come out, better than I expected. I have also used some chipboard music notes that I have embossed with glitter, along with some cream lace that I hope gives a sort of antique look to this card. I went around the square of sheet music with some Antique Linen distress ink and put a little glitter to the rose on her dress. I have used the Lil Lolita 20's Evie digi and coloured her with prismacolor pencils.
I have to thank Trexxie for her fantastic advice for my photo problems! I took your advice and I think that this is the best photo I have taken! Thank you again!

Music makes the world go round!

Sorry about the quality of my photo's but I really am struggling to get a good photo of my cards! I have no idea what I am doing wrong, but I just can't get a good one no matter what I do!
This is the card I have made for Swirls and pearls.
I have used a digi called Dixie Daisy and coloured her with Prismacolor pencils. I have used some bing for the swirls and some pretty purple pearls in the corners.
I made this card for my daughters friend Vanessa who turns 14 this week and she just loves to play the piano! Hope she likes the card.

Hope you like my card.

Girlie card for Lil Lolita

The weather in Melbourne today is quite strange to say the least! We have constant drizzling rain, strong winds and yet it is not cold outside even thought you would swear it was a winters day! Well at least it is perfect craft weather!
I have made this card for the Lil Lolita Boutique Challenge.
I have used Ivy for my image and coloured her with prismacolour pencils. I have used two papers from my stash and some flowers that I got from the craft show. I used the small tag and inked it up with pink ink and used a small happy birthday sticker and some small pink pearls for the corners.
I am happy with the way this has come out!
