Christmas challenge #2

Time for the 2nd christmas challenge at http://christmaschallenges.blogspot.com/

This is my card using the sketch that Marion has provided over at the Christmas challenge page, but you need to check out all the great cards done by the team.

For my card I have used a LOTV stamp and sentiment and colored it with copics. I have used papers from my scrap box and punched out three snow flakes in silver foil board and added a stick on gem colored with a blue copic marker. A little bit of glitter and the card is complete!

Lil pinkette August

I have made this card for a friend at work who wanted a card for a teenage girl. I have used the sketch from

I have used my purple ribbon for the card and this is my neglected stash that does not get used enough!

I have used the Lil pinkette August stamp from tickled pink stamps and used copics and distressed ink around the edge of the circle. The outside of the circle is my fiskars boarder punch that I have cut up and stuck around the circle. The sentiment is on a verve die. I have used a selection of purple papers from my stash and not sure what they are called. I also used some white and purple shimmer papers.

Let's get sentimental....

No work for me today so I had time to do another challenge, this time for http://papersundaes.blogspot.com/

I have used a computer generated sentiment for my card. I have used the fleur de lis rectangles and some sticker borders along with some heart stick ons.The paper is "quite contrary" and the flowers and ribbon are from my stash. It is a very basic card, but I like basic sometime.

Sunday again and my second card for the weekend. I used the sketch at http://sketchsaturday.blogspot.com/

I have used the celebrations stamp from fizzy moon called "with love" for the image and coloured  it with copics. I have used the mini deck earth love paper pad by cosmo cricket for the papers along with some basil. I added a yellow ribbon and flower charm. The sentiment comes along with the stamp.

Alittle bit of wonky sewing around the edge and some stick on pearls completes my card!

Yes it is the weekend again and I have made a card for the http://papertakeweekly.blogspot.com/2011/05/sketch-56.html sketch
 
For my card I have used a kanban stamp that I got a few months ago at a craft show. The sentiment is also from this set. I have coloured her with copic markers and used lots of glitter and stickles to make her sparkle and shine. The paper is a kaiser paper and I have used some stars that I punched out and covered in stickles as well.

I also added some ribbon and some small stick on bling from my stash.

Vintage....

This is the card I have made for the http://papersundaes.blogspot.com/ paper sundaes Vintage or Shabby chic. When I made this card I think that I had all my stash out and spread over the table area trying to decide on what to put on the card. I used papers from the cappella paper pad and the image is bildmalarna stamp "I'm your angel". I used copics to colour her in and used a nellies die to cut the edging and a whiff of joy metal die "heart banner". I got the ticket as a freebie and used a doily that I sponged pink. I used the pearls and lace from my stash.

Male birthday cards!

Over at CES challenge blog http://ceschallenges.blogspot.com/ they are asking for Embossing on the cards this week, so I thought it would be a good time to make my brother in laws birthday card.

The image is a free digi and I have coloured it with copic markers. I have stenciled in some clouds and a sun with versa color inks. I have embossed the green card with the swiss dots folder and used twine on the top of the card.

Wee stamp again....

I have made this card for the sketch saturday http://sketchsaturday.blogspot.com/ but am not sure if I have made the time line or not, oh well I will enter it anyway.

For this card I used the digi from Wee stamps called Suzie with bunny and coloured her with copics. For the papers I have used the Earth Love paper pack from cosmo cricket, oooh love these papers! I used a blue pearlised cardstock for the back.I have cut my image out with the clossic scalloped ovels in large and used distress ink antique linen around the edge. The lace is from my stash along with the heart shapes. I used the SU punch for the flowers and added some pearls to the center.

Oh a new Christmas challenge!

I just love Christmas and was excited when I found this new challenge that requires you to follow the sketch at http://christmaschallenges.blogspot.com/ and this is the card that I am entering.

I got this stamp last year from Lily of the valley and think he is so cute. I have coloured him with my copics and added sparkle fluff to the hat and pom pom. I have cut out the images with spellbinders labels eleven and also used this for the sentiment. I added a snow flake from my stash.. I sponged some distressed ink in peeled paint around the edge of the papers. I hope everyone can get along and look at this new challenge site and stock up on cards for Christmas early!

CES challenge

Another weekend almost over....But I did get to make a card and cute gift bag for my daughters friend who is turning 12 in a few weeks. I used a digi image from wee stamps called suzie with bunny. I have coloured this with a combination of copic markers and prisma pencils, a first for me.

I got the tutorial for the bag from http://highhopesstamps.blogspot.com/2011/05/tutorial-mini-treat-bag-by-lacey.html  and was so well done and easy to follow.Thank you!

Sorry that the photos are not of a great standard, but the weather here is very strange at the moment, great one day and terrible the next! And winter has not even started here yet!
