Tickled pink monthly challenge

I have to say a huge thank you to Lindsey for her expert advice on how to overcome my red copic problems!  I used the red copic and then a red prismacolor pencil for the shading and not a bit of colour run!
I have used the Lil Lolita Lylah digi for this card and have coloured her in with a mix of copics and prismacolor pencils. When I finished this card I was not sure on the colour of her dress, but then I thought that she looks like a real Aussie girl with her green and gold dress celebrating Christmas.
I have used a sparkly backing paper and the dp is called tradition and gave it a little distressing around the edges. I also used some lace on the middle and some ribbon. I used my new snowflake punch and added a little bling to the middle.
I hope you like my Aussie Lylah! Have a good day everyone!

Christmas with tilda

Well I must say that I have had a fantastic weekend! Went to the Craft Fest in Melbourne and had a ball buying up a storm, some copics to add to my collection, some Christmas papers and other bits and pieces. I did this card with my new tilda, not sure what it is called though! I have coloured it with copic markers and have found that I can use the greens ok but am having lots of trouble with the reds! Does anybody have any good combination of reds?? I am using r20, r22, r24, and r29 but they don't combine as well for me as the greens that I have....any suggestions would be fantastic! I have also used the magnolia noel stamp for her to sit on. I also used a sticker from my stash with a Christmas bauble.
I have done this card to enter into:
Hope you have had a good weekend too!

Baby's 1st Christmas

We have another lovely spring day here and I have enjoyed it to the full! Took the dog for a long walk this morning and this afternoon helped hubby in the garden. And now for some relaxing card making!
I made this card for http://scrapbookboutiquenews.blogspot.com/ that is wanting you to use
Colours Pink, Brown and White....( love these cakes!)
I have used a LOTV stamp and coloured it with my new copic's. I think I may need a bit more practice with them but I am having fun learning! I have used glitter on the hat and pom pom and cut it out and put it on foam  dots. I did the saying on the computer.
Hope you are having a great weekend!

A fairy Christmas.....

Hope you are enjoying your weekend! We are having a beautiful spring day, the sky is blue and bright!
I love this digi image that I got from mo manning, she is so sweet! I have made this to start my Christmas card collection as the lady's at work have already been asking if I will have any.

I have coloured her with prismacolor pencils and added glitter to the leaves, snow globe and her ruffle. I used a LOTV stamp for the sentiments, I just love these! I ordered them from England and will be using them heaps! I used another one for the inside circle that was cut with the nesties and also put it through the embossing folder so that it may look like snow....
I would like to enter this into the following:
Hope you have a lovely weekend!

Teddy bears picnic!

This card has another free digi image using the distressed inks to colour her in. Lindsey asked me what paper you use and after lots of trial and error (lots of error) I have found that just plain white card is the best to use, don't use watercolour paper as the ink will run! When I started to use these inks I did a google search on how to colour with distressed inks and found lots of sites that helped.
I would like to put this card into the following:
Well I have had a long weekend of card making, but now it is back to work for me.
Have a good week everyone!

30's Lylah

Happy Sunday!
I have had a fantastic weekend of card making! I have learnt new techniques for my digi images too! I found a fantastic site

http://www.makeitcrafty.com.au/card-making/products/Girls-Messy-Bedroom-digi-stamp.html that shows you how to use your digi images in ms word and although I am sure lots of people already know this I didn't and can now use my images in many different ways. Thank's Zoe for a great tutorial. I have got 1 memory stick full of images that I guard with my life and can now get a lot more use out of. This one is from http://www.tickledpinkstamps.com.au/ and I love to colour them up.

I made this card for the http://lillolitaboutique.blogspot.com/ that is asking for the use of buttons.
I have again used the distressed inks to colour my Lylah  in and used Zoe's techniques to make her the way I wanted her.  I have used a lot of green for this card and not sure if it all goes too well but.....
I cut out a label using the big shot and stamped the Birthday wishes and added some green gems.
Hope you are all having a crafty weekend too!

Music to my ears!

I have made this card for the http://lillolitaboutique.blogspot.com/ challenge that is requiring sheet music.
Well I did not have any sheet music paper so I have printed some off the internet and am very happy with how it has come out, better than I expected. I have also used some chipboard music notes that I have embossed with glitter, along with some cream lace that I hope gives a sort of antique look to this card. I went around the square of sheet music with some Antique Linen distress ink and put a little glitter to the rose on her dress. I have used the Lil Lolita 20's Evie digi and coloured her with prismacolor pencils.
I have to thank Trexxie for her fantastic advice for my photo problems! I took your advice and I think that this is the best photo I have taken! Thank you again!
I would also like to enter this into the following:
Hope you have a good weekend!

My green thank you card!

This card I made for my mum as a thank you card. I recently had my eyes done so that I could see without glasses or contacts and my mum came and helped my husband look after me when I had no idea what I was doing! Then when I saw the challenge at http://citycrafter.blogspot.com/2010/06/cccb-week-11-shades-of-green.html for a green card, well I thought that this would be perfect....
I used a stamp that I had not used before but have had for a long time, I think it is a Kaiser stamp, and I coloured it with water coloured pencils and used some stickles on the flower at the top. The various green paper have come from all over the place, never kept track of that and the bow is made with the bow easy.
My mum was happy with the card, hope you like it too!
